N. Jakarta Mayor Inaugurates Superkrane Park in Cilincing

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim, inaugurated the Superkrane Park on Jalan Syekh Nawawi Al Bantani, Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district.

He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties involved in the process of developing the area.

"Now the location is good, beautiful and has become a park that is able to absorb air pollution," he expressed, Thursday (9/5).

He explained the park named Superkrane Park was built through the Pentahelix concept involving elements of government, private sector, academics, media, and society. Its development was from corporate social responsibility (CSR).

"Together we create regional planning where development is based on the Pentahelix concept," he explained.

He ensured the arrangement of the area was not only conducted in one area, but in 31 sub-districts in North Jakarta. Currently, it was still ongoing.

Apart from parks, it could also be in the form of road development, meeting halls, residential areas, canals, and other things that the community needs.

"I urge everyone, let's work together to foster a sense of ownership of our territory. Let's beautify our territory, arrange slum areas that still need to be arranged," he explained.

Cilincing Sub-district Head, Depika Romadi added the arrangement on the 200-square-meter-long land involved North Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, Public Works Sub-agency, and Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency.

The land occupied by street vendors (PKL), illegal parking, and gathering places for Social Welfare Service Recipients had been arranged to be orderly and beautiful.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), the Mayor has inaugurated it by planting several trees. Hopefully, this park can provide benefits and comfort," he closed.
